Class Content

Please take time to read the class description carefully when enrolling your student. Due to the nature of certain subjects, some classes will require additional work at home by the student, while other classes may not.

Class Information

Classes are held in eight-week sessions and may run for one, two or three sessions. Fees are $40.00 per session ($24 for families with one child) with occasional additional material or lab fees required. These classes add to your home school curriculum and are not designed to replace home schooling.

Classes generally will run from 9am - 12pm on the posted dates. Most classes will be limited to a total of 10 students for elementary, and 15 students for upper grades. Classes are offered for preschool, elementary (K-5th), middle school (6th-8th), and high school (9th- 12th). Please register your student only in the age appropriate classes.

Task-for-a-class

While parents are not required to volunteer, we do ask them. Due to the high ratio of parents that volunteer, we are able to keep our class fees extremely low. Because of our parent volunteers, we do not have to pay for a cleaning service or nursery care providers, either of which, would double the cost of our program. In order to waive administrative fees, for every hour your family attends any CO-OP class, you the parents are asked to do one task listed on the task chart. Even though you may be assigned a “free” hour, you may be asked to fill in when there is a need. Again, by volunteering, parents make it possible for the classes to remain very affordable.

Cancellations

Registering for classes is considered a commitment. Late cancellations (one week prior to class or less) will require 50% payment of the entire session plus any material fees
